From June 2 to 5, 2026, an international practical seminar on maintaining financial stability entitled “Cooperation, coordination, communication: laying the foundation for a sustainable financial custody system”, organized by the Savings Protection Agency, was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, as part of the annual meeting of the Eurasian Regional Committee (EARC) of the International Association of Savings Insurers (IADI). Representatives of the Deposit and Savings Insurance Fund of Tajikistan (Fund) attended the EARC Committee meeting and the practical seminar as invited guests.
The event was attended by representatives of deposit insurance organizations, central banks, ministries of finance, international financial organizations and experts from different countries, who discussed topical issues of strengthening financial stability and increasing the effectiveness of cooperation between participants in the financial stability maintenance system.
At the annual meeting of the EARC, the Chairman of the Asoev Foundation, M.Net. in this verse, the Almighty Allah told about what he had done to protect the rights and interests of depositors and ensure the stability of the financial system of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, issues of coordination, cooperation and information exchange between deposit insurance organizations, central banks, supervisory authorities and other participants in the financial system were discussed. The experts discussed international experience in creating effective cooperation mechanisms, including memoranda of understanding, financial stability committees, and crisis management groups.
Special attention was paid to the practical aspects of preparing for crisis situations, planning the process of regulating the activities of bankrupt financial institutions and developing coordinated solutions to protect depositors and maintain the stability of the financial system.
The program also included interactive practical exercises and group work aimed at developing interagency coordination and decision-making skills in crisis situations.
As part of the annual meeting program, the Chairman of the Fund met with the Secretary General of the International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI), Ms. Eva Hüpkes. During the meeting, issues of cooperation and further development of bilateral relations were discussed, including the prospects for the foundation’s membership in the IADI.
Also on June 5, at the invitation of the Savings Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Chairman of the Fund met with the Chairman of the Savings Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic.
During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of developing deposit protection systems, sharing experiences and best practices. As a result of the negotiations, a memorandum of cooperation was signed aimed at strengthening partnerships, developing professional cooperation and further exchanging experience between deposit insurers.
