The deposit and savings insurance system is a state-protected mechanism for safeguarding the rights and legitimate interests of depositors, providing insurance compensation in the event of an insured event at a credit institution.
In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Insurance of Deposits and Savings”, the amounts of deposits and savings of depositors in member institutions are subject to mandatory insurance by the Fund.
In the event of an insurance case occurring at a credit institution that is a member of the Fund, depositors have the legal right to receive insurance compensation for their insured deposits at the credit institution. The Fund guarantees to reimburse depositors up to the limits established by law.
